PORTLAND, Ore. (April 21, 2026) — Five community health organizations, including one of Hawaii’s nine critical access hospitals, went live on the OCHIN Epic electronic health record (EHR) platform during the first quarter of 2026.
These new members join OCHIN’s collaborative, forward-thinking network at a pivotal moment, as OCHIN and fellow national nonprofit Community Care Cooperative (C3) recently announced a partnership to improve financial sustainability for rural and community-based providers through a new Accountable Care Organization option. This option is designed to help strengthen care quality and continuity for Medicare-eligible patients nationwide.
With the additions, OCHIN’s network includes more than 44,000 providers caring for more than 8.1 million people across over 2,200 care delivery sites.
OCHIN Epic ambulatory go-lives last quarter:
- County of San Luis Obispo — California
- Open Door Health Center of Minnesota — Minnesota
- Peak Vista Community Health Centers — Colorado
OCHIN Epic acute go-lives last quarter:
- Kahuku Medical Center — Hawaii
- Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community Journey to Recovery — Arizona
The two new acute members joined the OCHIN network last quarter following successful ambulatory go-lives at their health centers, further expanding their ability to deliver quality, connected care to surrounding rural and Indigenous communities. Both members — Kahuku Medical Center and Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community — shared their transformation stories with OCHIN, with Salt River noting that OCHIN’s billing services allowed them to gain “a complete understanding of Epic revenue cycle management workflows that helped lower AR days and drive revenue growth.”
As the trusted knowledge solutions partner of choice, OCHIN is committed to helping community health organizations achieve operational, clinical and financial excellence. In addition to providing a best-in-class EHR, OCHIN offers expert consultative support that empowers care teams to serve patients with confidence.
