Paul Matthews

Paul Matthews is the chief information security officer of OCHIN. In this role, he is responsible for security related to the technical delivery and hosting architecture for OCHIN’s Epic and data analytics business lines.  

With a broad range of experience at startups, nonprofits, and large international organizations, Paul has a consistent record of delivering extraordinary results in platform design, performance, and interoperability, as well as designing and implementing large-scale information systems. Externally, he is focused on the implementation of health information exchanges (HIE). Within communities, Paul is focused on health IT and secure information exchange, serves on a number of boards and advisories, and is a national speaker on health exchange.
