Marc Hackett has served as Jane Pauley Community Health Center (JPCHC) chief executive officer since 2012 and has more than 25 years of supervisory, financial, and business management experience in a health care environment. At JPCHC, Marc provides leadership, direction, and administration of all health center activities. He is responsible for the daily management of the corporation, and he supervises program and project directors and oversees all staff activities, delegating authority and responsibility when needed. Under his leadership, JPCHC has grown from one to 10 sites serving five counties in Central Indiana. Marc reports to the JPCHC Board of Directors. Prior to joining JPCHC, he served as executive director of Shalom Health Center, Inc. for 12 years, providing leadership, direction, and administration of all aspects of corporate activities.

As a manager, he supervised up to 30 medical practitioners and clerical support staff and served as business liaison for a 160-bed, full-service, 800-employee hospital. Marc helped write successful state community health center grants for capital and operations and a Section 330 federal grant application for three facilities.
