Kim Klupenger is the chief experience officer of OCHIN. With over 35 years of experience building organizations to identify and meet strategic growth, financial, product, and customer service goals, Kim’s background includes organization design and executive coaching, HR, finance, contracting, IT, Medicaid, and mergers/acquisitions. This experience led to being a founding leader and chief operating officer of Oregon Health Network (OHN), which provided broadband to hospitals and clinics throughout Oregon— including historically underserved communities—to support their health IT needs.
In 2012, Kim facilitated the acquisition of OHN by OCHIN to merge their shared mission of supporting access to health care for all. Since then, Kim has partnered in driving OCHIN’s growth and support of community health organizations, achieving an average year-over-year growth of 23%. As a result, OCHIN is proud to serve approximately 232 organizations in 36 states today. With OCHIN’s strategy to provide the best in Klas technology and support services wrapped in a strong customer service model, OCHIN is now focused on expanding our membership base to include rural hospitals.
Kim is honored to lead alongside the other members of OCHIN’s executive team, all of whom have a solid commitment to driving access to care for our members, their patients, and communities. This commitment is upheld through adaptable technologies, research, and data, as well as leading advocacy initiatives that amplify the voice and address the needs of our members on a national scale.
