La Pine Community Health Center partnered with OCHIN on a pilot project designed to help expand specialty health care options for rural communities, which reduced follow-up time for patients by an average of 45 days and demonstrated the value of a virtual network of specialists offering innovative access to services beyond primary care.
When River Hills implemented OCHIN Epic, they became the first of 11 health centers in Iowa who joined OCHIN as part of a nearly statewide collaboration to help connect and increase access to care for Iowa’s more than 245,000 health center patients.
