A recent report from Kaiser Family Foundation (KFF) examining the impact of Medicaid expansion and the Affordable Care Act highlighted 19 papers from OCHIN and Oregon Health & Science University’s (OHSU’s) shared Affordable Care Act portfolio, including projects such as ACCESS, ECHOES, PREVENT-D, and the OCHIN-led EVERYWOMAN study. Reviewing more than 600 studies in total, findings from the new KFF report demonstrate the positive effects of Medicaid expansion across a multitude of health outcomes, including cancer and chronic diseases, disparities, sexual and reproductive health, and social determinants of health.
