OCHIN is pleased to release our impact report for 2023, highlighting the shared progress of our growing member network to foster healthy, vibrant, and resilient communities nationwide.

In 2023, OCHIN connected more ambulatory, acute, and specialty care providers across a wide variety of health care settings—including rural hospitals, which were brought into the OCHIN network for the first time. Through the power of OCHIN Epic, more than 32,000 providers now support nearly 6 million active patients in a single, shared health records platform that supports whole-patient health and generational well-being while fueling insights and innovation.
Highlights of OCHIN’s 2023 annual report include:
- Our work to foster a platform of choice with a growing portfolio of integrated tools and support, including the launch of OCHIN Epic for acute care to support rural hospitals and other acute care facilities in their efforts to grow, attract new talent, and retain their independence
- Our impact through policy, insights, and research, including our first prime research award from the National Institutes of Health
- Our culture of diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging, including the growth of our nationwide workforce and continued focus on learning and connection to foster trust
