Eight ambulatory community health care organizations and one rural hospital went live in the last quarter of 2023 with OCHIN Epic, an electronic health record (EHR) platform offered by OCHIN to help care teams manage and connect patient care, streamline clinical workflows, and improve the health of rural and medically underserved communities nationwide. In total, 34 organizations went live on OCHIN Epic in 2023.
"By working with the OCHIN team to implement OCHIN Epic and with the support of our many dedicated volunteers, we have been able to provide our community with true equitable access to care," said Deborah A. Roberts, director of clinical services at the Jewish Community Free Clinic.

- United Community Health Center — Storm Lake, IA
- Community Health Care — Davenport, IA
- Siouxland Community Health Center — Sioux City, IA
- Infinity Health — Leon, IA
OCHIN Epic Acute go-lives last quarter:
- Burnett Medical Center — Grantsburg, WI
OCHIN expanded into acute care earlier in 2023 to address persistent gaps in rural health care delivery, welcoming its first member hospital in June. The expansion leverages OCHIN’s distinct knowledge of rural health challenges and more than 20 years of experience enabling community care organizations to transform care delivery through tailored insights and expertise.
The new members during the final quarter of 2023 join OCHIN’s rapidly growing national network, which now reaches more than 5.5 million patients through about 30,000 providers at about 2,000 health care delivery sites nationwide. These include rural hospitals, rural health clinics, community health centers, tribal health organizations, school-based clinics, correctional facilities, behavioral health providers, dental clinics, public health departments, and HIV/AIDS care organizations.
