The OCHIN network was founded in 2000 to connect a handful of community health centers in Oregon through a shared electronic health record platform. More than two decades later, our commitment remains unwavering: We believe every care team should have access to the best technology and solutions to provide the highest standard of care.
What began as a spark of an idea has evolved into a powerful force, driving us toward the promise of good health and well‑being for everyone.

OCHIN has grown to support more than 300 community health care organizations and over 2,000 delivery sites through OCHIN Epic, improving access to whole-person care for more than 7.4 million people nationwide. Join us as we reflect on pivotal moments, celebrate achievements, and share inspiring stories that highlight the impact of this network over the past 25 years.
Our members have been at the heart of this journey from the beginning, driving change and making a tangible impact in their communities. As we commemorate OCHIN’s 25th anniversary, we are excited to showcase how these member organizations, along with many others, are expanding access, improving care delivery, and shaping the future of community health through the transformative power of their partnership.
OCHIN has been honored as one of the top nonprofits to work for in the U.S. by The NonProfit Times. The 2025 Best Nonprofits to Work For designation places OCHIN among 50 organizations recognized for championing a well-rounded work environment.
