Megan is a masters-level researcher with more than 10 years’ experience working on grant funded, community-based research teams. Her career has focused on health policy, public health, health disparities, and surveillance in a range of focus areas (e.g., cancer, diabetes, vital statistics, substance abuse). She has served as Site Principal Investigator, Co-Investigator, Biostatistician, and Project Director on multiple NIH, AHRQ, and PCORI-funded research studies. In these roles she regularly contributes to study design, leads quantitative data collection and analysis, and disseminates scientific findings. She has led or contributed to over 30 peer-reviewed publications and presented at numerous professional conferences in the US and internationally. Ms. Hoopes also manages the Research Analytics team at OCHIN, overseeing a team of 9 biostatisticians and data analysts. She holds an MPH in Epidemiology and Biostatistics from Oregon Health & Science University and a BS in Microbiology from Northern Arizona University.
