Brenda Garske, EMBA

Brenda Garske is the vice president of finance at OCHIN, where she oversees the organization’s financial management functions. With more than 30 years of experience in financial leadership, business strategy, and corporate management, Brenda brings deep expertise and strategic insight to her role.

Prior to joining OCHIN in 2019, Brenda held senior-level financial positions with a nonprofit managed care organization serving the uninsured and underinsured pediatric population in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area, with Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, and in the telecom industry. She is a certified public accountant, holding an executive MBA from the University of Texas at Arlington, and earned a bachelor’s degree in accountancy and a Bachelor of Business Administration in economics from the University of Oklahoma.

Brenda has been a member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), earned six Certificates of Excellence in Financial Reporting as a member of the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA), and served on DFW Airport’s Women’s Initiative Network (WIN). She is based in Portland, Oregon.
