For five years, a women-led research team at OCHIN studied the impact of Medicaid expansion under the Affordable Care Act on access to comprehensive preventive, contraceptive, and pregnancy-related care. They also explored the role that health centers play in connecting women to quality reproductive care.
In a new partnership with OCHIN, 11 of Iowa’s community health centers are collectively implementing OCHIN Epic to transform care delivery and better connect underserved communities with quality, whole-patient care.
