Perry Foley is the director of research services at OCHIN. She is a health systems research professional with over 25 years of experience directing research capacity-building efforts and managing complex epidemiological and interventional research studies with patient populations in primary care settings. As director of research services, Perry leads integrated operational teams that develop and implement research regulatory and compliance infrastructure, research operations, sponsored research administration and key initiatives. The research services team supports the growth and increasing complexity of OCHIN’s robust health services research portfolio.
Throughout her career, Perry has focused on research with vulnerable populations in primary care and community health center settings through projects in a range of disciplines—reproductive and sexual health epidemiology, behavioral interventions for obesity treatment, implementation of collaborative care for treatment of perinatal depression, policy evaluation of Oregon Medicaid reimbursement for pain treatment and opioid prescribing and evaluations of innovative cancer-related interventions.
Prior to her tenure at OCHIN, Perry served as associate director of the Duke Global Digital Health Science Center. Under the mentorship of Dr. Gary Bennett, Duke Digital Health grew to a university-supported enter with 12+ staff simultaneously conducting several large domestic and international federally-sponsored projects in obesity treatment and digital health.
