We provide our members with a suite of services focused on helping providers efficiently and effectively implement practice management and electronic health records. But that’s not all we do:
Providing the Health Information Technology tools, software solutions, and implementation expertise necessary to provide quality care and reporting in any setting. These offerings include:
Professional & Knowledge Services
Offering best practice models in practice management workflow, service implementation, and optimization of current HIT tools in the following areas:
Bridging the space between health care providers and patients for faster, more integrated care within and outside of the OCHIN community network.
Improving practice efficiency and overall population health through the analysis of real-time clinical and claims data. This area includes both our research department, and the OCHIN Practice-Based Research Network.
Using clinical and claims data spanning 18 states—and touching over a million unique patients a year—to aggregate, analyze, and report upon an ever-expanding data set. We don’t view our data as our data, it’s everyone’s data: and if collected, shared, and presented well, this data has the power and ability to truly affect the outcomes we all strive to obtain.
Federal and State Programs
Making the most of over a decade of experience working with federal and state agencies such as the Office of the National Coordinator, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, and the Federal Communications Commission. These programs include:
Advocacy, Outreach & Thought Leadership
Working at the national and state level to make health care transformation a priority. This requires advocacy, coordination, and dialogue at all levels of the health care continuum. On behalf of our members, and in coordination with local and national partners, some of our most important work is designed to not be seen, but rather experienced in the form of progress:
- National/Federal and Local/State
- Informing policy around use of tech and data
