Kurt Stange

Kurt Stange, MD, PhD, is a family and public health physician, practicing at Neighborhood Family Practice, a federally qualified community health center and OCHIN practice in Cleveland, Ohio.

At Case Western Reserve University, Kurt is a Distinguished University Professor, and he is the Gertrude Donnelly Hess, MD Professor of Oncology Research, and Professor of Family Medicine and Community Health, Epidemiology & Biostatistics, Oncology and Sociology.

Kurt is an American Cancer Society Clinical Research Professor, and he also serves as editor for the Annals of Family Medicine (www.AnnFamMed.org). He is working on Promoting Health Across Boundaries (www.PHAB.us), and is active in practice-based, multi-method, participatory research and development that aims to understand and improve primary health care and community health.

Kurt is a member of the Academy of Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences.
