A driving force for health equity

OCHIN is more than a health IT vendor. We are a collaborative of health centers focused on using health information technology (IT) tools and capabilities to ensure that our network of providers are able to offer the best care.

OCHIN was founded on the principals of the Health Center Controlled Network (HCCN) model as defined under Section 330(e)(1)(C) of the Public Health Service Act. Through the support of HRSA-funding, OCHIN administers three designated HCCNs and has additional formal partnerships.

We support HCCNs as an important piece of the safety-net—improving the use of health technology for better health outcomes. We believe collaboration is the key to the evolution and improvement of our national health system.

OCHIN currently has formal partnerships with more than 8 PCAs and Networks nationwide.

The OCHIN Family of Companies utilize HRSA’s HCCN funding to offer Federally Qualified Health Centers the following:

  •        Relevant and integrated health information technology tools

  •        Accessible safety net population health research to inform policy and practice

  •        Effective training and assistance with process improvement and workflow tools

  •        Efficient data solutions needed to transform primary care nationwide

Transforming health care to improve quality and outcomes while reducing costs demands both innovation and collaboration.
