OCHIN Recognizes National Diabetes Month: Leveraging the Power of the Collaborative for Success Throughout the Year

November is National Diabetes Month sponsored by the American Diabetes Association (ADA). According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), more than 30 million Americans have diabetes and an additional 84 million have prediabetes. Along with OCHIN’s suite of tools and resources to help manage diabetes, OCHIN is expanding its scope to focus on upstream preventive interventions. In 2020, we plan to roll out a collaborative-wide campaign sponsored by HCCN, to encourage members to work together in a focused effort to improve performance on diabetes prevention and control across the board.
