OCHIN Releases New Supplements to Assist Members with NCQA 2017 PCMH and SBHC Recognition
By Lily Tran
This month, OCHIN releases a pair of updated supplements to assist members seeking National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) 2017 Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH), and School-Based Medical Home (SBHC)recognition. PCMH and SBHC recognition activities are supported under the HRSA Health Center Controlled Network Award.
Nationwide, more than 12,000 practices, 2,300 school-based health centers, and 60,000 providers nationwide have achieved NCQA recognition.
OCHIN Epic versions of these supplements are available on Ella, OCHIN’s LMS. These supplements provide broad operational guidance, and identify specific OCHIN Epic Reporting Workbench, Business Objects, and Acuere QOL reports and materials to help members prepare for secure, successful NCQA representative site visits, virtual demonstrations, and submissions to the NCQA Q-PASS portal.
NCQA releases new PCMH and SBHC recognition guidelines in 2020.
For information about PCMH and SBHC recognition resources and support, as well as EHR-neutral versions of these publications, contact OCHIN PCMH Program Coordinator Lily Tran at firstname.lastname@example.org.
