OCHIN Receives Three-Year HCCN Award from HRSA
OCHIN is pleased to announce that it has been named the recipient of a FY 2019 Health Center Controlled Network (HCCN) award from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA).
This three-year award makes OCHIN the largest HCCN in the nation. With these funds, OCHIN will work cooperatively across HCCN members and partners to improve quality and value in health centers through technological advancements and workflow improvement.
The HCCN award provides essential resources that will help support participating health centers nationwide with:
Enhancing the patient and provider experience
Using data to enhance value
With this new HCCN funding, OCHIN, and partner organizations will be offered support including, but not limited to:
Customized training and technical assistance
Support for connectivity to state immunizations registries, prescription drug monitoring programs (PDMPs), Health Information Exchanges (HIEs), supporting device integration, and patient engagement solutions
Support with closed loop referral capabilities and assistance
Improved reporting options
Robust learning collaborative and peer network groups
Individualized health center gap analyses for key areas of focus such as patient engagement and provider burden
Access to a growing collection of tools, resources, and virtual and in-person trainings that support evidence-based and emerging practices
