A driving force for health equity

 AnnMarie Overholser, MD is a clinical informaticist at OCHIN. A family doctor by background. She practiced in Portland, OR, Gallup, NM, and most recently at a community health center in Yamhill County, Oregon serving a largely Hispanic community, before coming to OCHIN in 2018. While working as a family doctor, she became interested in systems level approaches to improving health in communities. At OCHIN, AnnMarie’s work includes projects related to pregnancy intention screening, cardiovascular risk reduction, clinical workflows, and improving the experience of the patient and care team in the EHR.

A Portland native, AnnMarie attended Wellesley College and Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She is currently pursuing an MPH in Epidemiology at the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health.
